Cut-outs
Cut-outs are a form of collage with paper and fabric. In most cases they are like conversation starters for me similar to setting the context for a debate. Usually they stay visible in some form to the very end – even if as a profile on the surface – but the dialogue of paint, graphite, ink, or oil pastels may completely ignore and override them in parts or embrace and highlight them in others.
